ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (ELECTRIC WINDOWS)

If the vehicle is equipped with a window regulator motor featuring an anti-pinch function, follow the procedure below after installation. Do not operate or test the motor before the regulator and glass are correctly installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch up switch for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully closed.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch down switch for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully open.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully and confirm it stays at the top.

If the window drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
