Anti-Pinch Motor Reset Instructions

If the vehicle is equipped with an electric window motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor may require resetting after installation.

• Do not operate or test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up and confirm that the window travels all the way to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
