INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

Installation should be performed by a qualified technician. Follow all vehicle manufacturer procedures and safety instructions.

• Mounting location: intake manifold
• Inspect and clean the intake manifold flange before installation
• Always use a new seal ring and/or gasket
• Install mounting bolts in a cross pattern; typical tightening torque: 8–10 Nm (if applicable to the vehicle)
• Reconnect all electrical connectors, vacuum hoses, coolant lines and air ducts securely

SAFETY NOTES

• Allow the engine to cool before disconnecting any coolant hoses
• Do not damage the intake manifold flange sealing surface
• Protect the electrical connector from moisture and debris
• Do not use a throttle body that has visible impact damage

ADAPTATION & SELF-LEARNING

After installation, many vehicles require throttle body adaptation or self-learning using appropriate diagnostic equipment or an approved manual procedure.

• Ensure battery voltage is sufficient during adaptation
• All electrical loads (A/C, lights, etc.) should be switched off
• Transmission in Park (P) or Neutral as specified by the vehicle manufacturer
• Do not press the accelerator pedal during automatic basic setting unless the specified procedure requires it
• After learning, start the engine and let it idle for several minutes; check for warning lights and leaks
