ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function, the motor must be correctly initialised after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

• Install the regulator and motor and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully and check operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the glass moves slightly to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully and confirm it remains at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly initialised.
