ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch window system, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this can cause the anti-pinch function to fail.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: With the motor installed and connected to the one-touch switch, pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the glass to the top and check that it no longer drops down.

If the window drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
