ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTOR)

If used with a motor featuring anti-pinch and one-touch function, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and need to be reset.

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the glass moves up all the way and stays at the top, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, carry out the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET STEPS

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer moves down automatically.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
