ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET NOTE
If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, the motor may require resetting after installation of a new regulator.
- Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require reset.
- Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
- Operate the switch to check if the window travels fully to the top without dropping.
Reset steps (if the window drops after reaching the top):
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly reset.
