Anti-Pinch Function Reset (Motor Equipped Vehicles)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as follows:

• Install the motor in the door before testing. Do not bench-test the motor.
• Connect the one-touch window switch and operate the window fully up.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and check that it no longer drops.

Repeat the steps if the window still drops after reaching the top.
