ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET NOTICE

This regulator is supplied without motor. If used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, correct setup is critical. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

After installing the motor and connecting the one-touch window switch, check that the window travels fully to the top. If the glass drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as outlined below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET STEPS

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
