ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTORS)

If used with a motor that has an anti-pinch function, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is fitted in the door, as this can affect the anti-pinch calibration.

General reset procedure (check your vehicle manual for exact steps):

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window fully up; if it drops back down at the top, a reset is required.
• With the window at the top, pull and hold the switch up for several seconds.
• Move the window fully down, then press and hold the switch down for several seconds.
• Cycle the window up again and confirm it no longer drops at the top.

Repeat the reset procedure if the window continues to drop after reaching the top position.
