ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch and verify the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window moves fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not lower itself. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
