Anti-Pinch Motor Setup Note
This regulator is intended for use with electric window motors featuring an anti-pinch function. Incorrect testing or setup of the motor can cause the anti-pinch feature to malfunction and require reset.
Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure
- Install the motor on the regulator in the door and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
- Operate the switch to confirm that the window travels fully to the top.
- If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, a reset of the anti-pinch function is required.
Reset steps:
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top position.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.
The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop back down. If it still drops, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly calibrated.
Installation & Warranty Notes
- Professional installation by a qualified automotive technician is strongly recommended.
- Warranty covers replacement of the defective part only and does not include labour or associated costs.
- Inspect the part and test window operation after installation to ensure correct fitment and function.
