The 4.7-liter Toyota 2UZ-FE engine was produced from 1998 to 2012 only at the American plant in Alabama and was installed on the most powerful SUVs and pickup trucks of the concern. At different times, there were two versions of this engine, with and without the VVT-i variable valve timing system. The UZ family includes engines: 1UZ‑FE and 3UZ‑FE. The engine was installed on: Toyota 4Runner 4 (N210) in 2003 – 2009; Toyota Land Cruiser 100 (J100) in 1998 – 2007; Land Cruiser 200 (J200) in 2007 – 2011; Toyota Sequoia XK40 in 2001 – 2007; Sequoia 2 (XK60) in 2007 – 2009; Toyota Tundra 1 (XK30) in 2000 – 2006; Tundra 2 (XK50) in 2006 – 2009; Lexus GX470 1 (J120) in 2002 – 2009; Lexus LX470 2 (J100) in 1998 – 2007.
