ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

For window regulators or motors with anti-pinch and one-touch functions, correct setup is essential for reliable operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Motors are pre-tested and set prior to dispatch.
• After installation, connect to the one-touch switch and raise the window. It should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform an anti-pinch reset.

Reset procedure (if required):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm normal operation.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
