Mean Mother Snatch Strap 9m x 75mm 11,000kg Recovery Strap MMSS11T

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Mean Mother MMSS11T snatch strap is designed for heavy-duty 4x4 and off-road vehicle recovery. With an 11,000kg (12 tonne) minimum breaking strength and a 9m x 75mm construction, it delivers controlled kinetic energy to help recover bogged or stranded vehicles.

KEY FEATURES

  • Rated minimum breaking strength: 11,000kg (12 tonne)
  • Strap dimensions: 9m length x 75mm width
  • High tenacity 100% nylon webbing for strength and durability
  • Reinforced eyelets to extend operational life
  • Thermo-fixed and treated webbing for longer wear
  • High elongation of approximately 20% for effective kinetic recovery
  • Part Number: MMSS11T

SIZING GUIDELINES

For safe and effective operation, select a snatch strap rated at approximately 2.5–3 times the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of your fully loaded vehicle. Always confirm your vehicle's GVM and recovery requirements before use.

HOW IT WORKS

The nylon webbing is designed to stretch under load, similar to a rubber band. As the strap stretches between the recovery vehicle and the bogged vehicle, it stores kinetic energy. When it attempts to return to its original length, this energy assists in pulling the stuck vehicle free, reducing shock loading on recovery points compared with a non-elastic tow strap.

USAGE NOTES

  • Always use rated recovery points and hardware suitable for the strap rating.
  • Do not exceed the strap's rated capacity.
  • Inspect the strap for damage, cuts, or fraying before and after each use.
  • Follow all manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines for vehicle recovery.
