INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH NOTE

Some window motors feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing or installation of the motor can cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and motor, then connect the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window to full travel to confirm correct operation.

If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, an anti-pinch reset is required.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the glass back to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
