ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

Some motors feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor in the door before testing.
• Connect to the one-touch window switch and operate the window fully up.
• If the window goes up then drops slightly, perform a reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window to the top and check it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
