ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTOR EQUIPPED SYSTEMS)

If your vehicle uses an electric motor with anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the system may require resetting after installation. Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and need reset.

The basic reset procedure is as follows (refer to your workshop manual for vehicle-specific instructions):

• With the regulator and motor installed, connect the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window fully up and down while holding the switch for 3–5 seconds at the upper and lower stops.
• Repeat the sequence until the window reaches the top and remains there without dropping back down.
