Product Overview
This performance silicone intake hose is designed as a turbo inlet tube for the Volkswagen Golf MK7, including GTI and R models, with EA888 1.8T and 2.0T engines from 2014. A silicone inlet hose is a common replacement for the factory inlet, offering a flexible, durable connection between the intake and turbocharger and a cleaner look in the engine bay.

Vehicle Compatibility
The title lists the VW Golf MK7, GTI and R with EA888 1.8T and 2.0T engines from 2014 onwards. The specification fields refer more broadly to VW and Audi, and include year and engine entries such as 2006-2016 and 2.0 TDI that do not match the title. Fitment is supplier-stated and must be confirmed for your vehicle before ordering.

Installation and Usage
Remove the engine cover and intake components to reach the turbo inlet. Loosen the clamps on the factory inlet hose and remove it, taking care not to drop anything into the turbo. Fit the silicone hose, making sure each end is fully seated, and tighten the clamps evenly. Start the engine and check for air leaks or warning lights, then recheck clamp tightness after a short drive.
