Installation and Usage

A fuel cell must be mounted securely using a strong frame or straps, isolated from the cabin with a suitable firewall, and positioned away from exhaust heat and crash zones where possible. Use fuel lines, fittings and vents rated for the fuel you run, and include rollover protection where required. Because fuel system work carries a serious fire risk, installation by a qualified motorsport fabricator is strongly recommended. Check for leaks before every event.
