Installation and Usage

The tip is fitted over the end of the existing tailpipe and secured by clamping or welding, depending on the design and your preference. Align it evenly with the bumper opening and leave enough clearance to avoid heat damage to the bodywork. An exhaust shop can weld it in place for a permanent finish. Burnt finishes can change colour with heat over time, which is normal. A tip alone should not change exhaust noise, but always ensure your full system meets WoF requirements in New Zealand.
