Product Overview
This universal 3 litre aluminium fuel surge tank is designed for performance and motorsport fuel systems. During hard cornering, braking or acceleration, fuel can move away from the main tank pickup and momentarily starve the engine. A surge tank maintains a reserve of fuel for the high-pressure pump, helping to keep supply consistent when the main tank is low or the car is driven hard.
Key Features and Benefits
- 3 litre fuel capacity
- Aluminium construction
- Designed to feed an external high-pressure pump

- Universal design for custom fuel systems

Installation and Usage
In a typical setup, the in-tank lift pump feeds the surge tank, an external high-pressure pump draws from it to supply the engine, and a return line feeds back to the surge tank or main tank. Correct hose specification, fittings, wiring and secure mounting away from heat sources are essential. Fuel system work is a serious fire risk, so installation by a qualified professional is strongly recommended. Check all connections for leaks after fitting.
