Universal Aluminium Oil Catch Can / Coolant Overflow Tank 1L - 2L with Barbed Fittings

Product Overview

This universal aluminium reservoir is designed to work as an oil breather catch can or a coolant overflow recovery tank, depending on how it is plumbed. It uses barbed fittings for straightforward hose connections and is listed in capacities from 1 litre to 2 litres. The anodised black or silver finish suits custom engine bays on street, track and project cars.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Aluminium construction
  • Anodised finish in black or silver as listed
  • Barbed fittings for push-on hose connections
  • Can be used as an oil catch can or coolant overflow tank
  • Capacity listed between 1L and 2L

Vehicle Compatibility

This is a universal part, so suitability depends on your available mounting space, hose sizes and intended use. Fitment is supplier-stated as universal and has not been independently verified. Please measure your engine bay and confirm the tank dimensions and fitting sizes before ordering.

Installation and Usage

Mount the tank securely away from exhaust heat and moving parts. As a catch can, it is usually placed between the crankcase breather and the intake so oil vapour can condense in the can, which should then be drained regularly. As an overflow tank, it connects to the radiator overflow outlet. If you are unsure how to route the hoses for your engine, have the tank installed by a qualified mechanic. Never open a hot cooling system.

Package Contents

One aluminium tank as pictured. The supplier has not confirmed whether hoses, brackets, clamps or a dipstick are included; other contents not confirmed.

Important Fitment Notice

Breather system changes may affect emissions compliance, so please check WoF requirements for your vehicle. If you would like help selecting the right size or setup, send us your VIN or chassis number and we will be glad to assist before you order.
