Product Overview
This Type-4 vertical hydraulic handbrake features a dual cylinder design and is intended for drift, rally and motorsport vehicles. A dual cylinder setup can allow the handbrake to act on two separate hydraulic circuits, depending on how it is plumbed. The vertical lever sits close to the gear stick for quick, natural use during drift initiation or tight corners.
Key Features and Benefits
- Vertical lever design
- Dual cylinder configuration
- Hydraulic operation for rapid rear wheel lock
- Universal fitment, as listed
- Suits drift, rally and motorsport builds
- Robust design for repeated hard use
Vehicle Compatibility
This is a universal hydraulic handbrake rather than a vehicle-specific part. Suitability depends on your brake system design, line routing and available floor mounting space. Please confirm compatibility with your brake setup before ordering, and contact us if you need help planning the installation.

Installation and Usage
Brake system modifications are safety-critical and must be completed by a qualified technician. The handbrake must be rigidly mounted and correctly plumbed using rated brake lines and fittings, with the entire system bled afterwards. A dual cylinder layout requires careful planning of both circuits. Test the brakes thoroughly in a safe, controlled area before use, and inspect fittings for leaks after each event.

Sold as a single item: the dual cylinder hydraulic handbrake as pictured. Brake lines, fittings, reservoirs and mounting brackets have not been confirmed by the supplier.
Important Fitment Notice
Hydraulic handbrakes are intended for motorsport and off-road use. Brake modifications on road vehicles in New Zealand require certification, and the factory park brake must remain functional to pass WoF. Please check requirements before purchase. Images are for reference only, and finish may vary.
