Volkswagen Sharan 2000 Engine Cooling Radiator 18D121251

Product overview

This replacement engine cooling radiator is referenced to OE number 18D121251 and is listed for the Volkswagen Sharan. The radiator transfers heat from the engine coolant to the outside air, keeping the engine at a safe operating temperature. A leaking, blocked or damaged radiator can lead to rising temperature gauges, coolant loss, steam from under the bonnet and, if ignored, serious engine damage, so prompt replacement is worthwhile.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data contains a single entry: the Volkswagen Sharan CL for the 2000 model year. No engine, transmission or air-conditioning details were supplied. The 18D part number prefix is not one commonly seen on European Sharan radiators, so this unit may correspond to a specific market version. Because of the limited data, fitment is classed as partial. Please compare your existing radiator closely before ordering, including core size, hose outlet positions and any transmission cooler connections.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Radiator replacement is a moderately involved job, and we recommend it is carried out by a qualified technician. Allow the engine to cool completely, then drain the coolant into a suitable container. Transfer fans, brackets and sensors from the old radiator as required. Refill with the manufacturer-specified coolant, bleed the system thoroughly and check hoses and clamps for leaks after a test drive.

Fitment checks before ordering

Radiators vary with engine, gearbox and air-conditioning fitment. Always confirm the OE number on your existing radiator or check your VIN with our team before purchasing.
