Technical specifications

Installation requirements

This fuel system component should be fitted by a qualified technician. Disconnect the battery, release fuel pressure and work in a ventilated area away from any ignition source. Check orientation of the assembly in the tank, fit a sound seal, and confirm there are no leaks before driving. Keep dirt away from the open tank, clear any stored fault codes, and confirm the fuel gauge reads accurately after refilling.

Fitment checks before ordering

Please confirm fitment using your OE part number or VIN before ordering. The Sharan and Alhambra used several pump revisions depending on engine and production date. If you are unsure which suffix your vehicle uses, send us the number from your existing unit and we will help compare it against the references listed above.
