VW Jetta A4 / Bora / Golf IV 1998–2005 Front Fender Left 1J5821021

Product overview

This left-hand front fender is a new replacement panel for the Volkswagen Jetta A4, known in many markets as the Bora. The listing shows it alongside a range of matching panels, with OE references 1J5821021 and 1J5821022 for the fenders, 1J0805588A for the radiator support, 1J5807217 and 1J5807417 for the bumpers, 1J5823031A for the bonnet and 1J4831055H/056H for the front doors. This listing covers the LH fender option.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data (five rows) covers the VW Bora (1J2) 1998–2005, Bora Variant (1J6), Golf IV (1J1), Golf IV Variant (1J5) 1999–2006 and Golf IV Cabriolet (1E7) 1998–2002. Note that the Bora and Golf IV have different front-end styling, and Golf IV guards are generally not interchangeable with Bora guards. The 1J5 part number prefix suggests this panel suits the Bora / Jetta A4 and Golf IV Variant, so confirm before ordering.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Please have this guard fitted by a panel beater. Older vehicles may have hidden corrosion at the mounting points, which should be repaired before the new panel goes on. Test-fit, adjust gaps, then prime and paint to your colour code. Refit liners, clips and the side repeater, and apply cavity protection.

Fitment checks before ordering

On a Australian and New Zealand right-hand-drive vehicle, the LH side is the passenger side. Please compare the part number on your existing guard with 1J5821021, or send us your VIN, before ordering to make sure you receive the correct panel.

Package inclusions
